I was born in 1956 in Gateshead, UK, and grew up in Birtley, County Durham. I’ve been married to Sue since 1980 and we have three children: Matthew (b. 1983), Melanie (1986) and Sophie (1989). I’ve been a journalist since I was 19 and am now Night Editor of the Sunday Mirror newspaper based in London.




Brian is 33% evil.
